Brush up on NFPA 70E Electrical Safety Training at Group CBS Locations

At CBS ArcSafe, an affiliate of Group CBS, we are always looking for ways to keep our customers up to date, not only with the latest in remote racking and remote switching equipment but also with safety training and information on OSHA regulations. Several of the Group CBS affiliates will be hosting AVO Training Institute's two-day NFPA 70E Standard Electrical Safety course, which covers the requirements for working safely in the electrical environment based on NFPA 70E. New RSA-152G Closes/Trips Boltswitch T Series

CBS ArcSafe introduces the lightweight, portable RSA-152G for use with the Boltswitch T Series bolted pressure switch. The remote switch actuator keeps technicians safe by allowing them to remotely close or trip the switch while stationed outside the arc-flash boundary. Learn more.

OSHA Cites Metal Treating Company; Penalties Pending

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has cited Hudapack Metal Treating of Illinois, Inc., for numerous health and safety violations. Among them are failing to use electrical safety work practices and failing to train employees about electrical hazards. The company faces penalties in excess of $180,000. Read more.
