We’ve added new suppliers, new employees, new customers, new partners, and new affiliates to Group CBS. While it’s great to celebrate all the new additions, we are most thankful for our loyal customers and dedicated employees. Without our dedicated team members and long-standing customer base, all the new would not be possible.

CBS ArcSafe to Offer More Wireless Chicken Switches

In October’s newsletter, we introduced the RSK-CS01W, our new wireless CS01 Chicken Switch®. Since then, our sales team has been busy taking and filling orders from customers who love the idea of a wireless remote operator for control switches. Furthermore, many customers are requesting that other devices go wireless. By December, CBS ArcSafe will offer the control switch operators RSK-CS03 and RSK-CS04 in a wireless format.

Remember That Distance Is Safety

When it comes to arc-flash safety, many articles discuss PPE and effective arc-flash reduction technologies. However, these same articles often fail to highlight the effectiveness of remote racking and remote switching equipment. The NIOSH Hierarchy of Controls chart was incorporated into NFPA 70E in 2018. The chart illustrates the concept of hazard reduction, from the most-effective measures (elimination of the hazard) to the lease effective (PPE). Learn more.
