The RSK-iMPB1 is designed to remotely operate the ON/OFF handle on Tap-off Disconnect Boxes through 250A for the Intelligent Medium PowerBar manufactured by E+I Engineering Group. It is not designed for operating any other type of bus plug disconnects.

The RSK-iMPB1 is currently offered in a cabled and wireless versions. For cabled versions, cable lengths of 30-feet (9.1m) and 50-feet (15.2m) are available. For longer cable lengths, contact CBS ArcSafe.

The RSK-iMPB1 can be installed over the Tap-off disconnect handle regardless of the position of the handle (whether it is in the ON or OFF position). However, the operating arm on the RSK-iMPB1 must be prepositioned to match the current position of the disconnect handle (ON or OFF position).

The RSK-iMPB1 is designed to work without modification Tap-off boxes rated up to 250 amps.
