Most paths to success are winding roads with detours and bumps along the way. For Justin Gaull his unique path to CBS ArcSafe is what makes him such an asset to the Group CBS team.
Gaull recently discussed his career journey with IEEE Industry Applications Magazine, where he recounted a variety of careers – from firefighter and EMT to exercise specialist and personal trainer in the medical field to business coach. His interest in learning constantly helped him find new opportunities.
It was at a bariatric surgical center and medical weight loss practice that he gained experience in marketing and business development working on its innovations to transform the industry. After moving to the West Virginia Department of Tourism, he transitioned to the West Virginia Small Business Development Center where he was a business coach and was charged with developing a statewide technology innovation coaching program. That work led him to Martek Limited (chicken switch innovators), where he used his experience to boost revenues and position the company for its eventual acquisition by CBS ArcSafe.
There were threads along the path that led to CBS ArcSafe, including his parents’ work as a machine operator and an electrician and his time maintaining equipment and trucks at the fire station.
Now business development manager for data centers and national accounts at Group CBS, Gaull’s responsibilities include developing national accounts, enhancing industry relations, and building channel partnerships. He’s often traveling to conduct site visits alongside sales representatives, delivering presentations to engineering leadership, or showcasing electrical safety equipment at industry conferences. Outside of work, he is a father of five and spends his free time mountain biking and playing sports.
