This week CBS ArcSafe and Group CBS hosted a hospitality event at the IEEE Petroleum and Chemical Industry Committee’s (PCIC) conference in Orlando. Guests included the industry’s electrical engineering leadership, operators, safety experts, and arc flash consultants.
During the event, participants tried their luck to win prizes playing “Chicken Switch Plinko,” which demonstrated the capabilities of the RSK-CS01W wireless control switch operator in a Price is Right-inspired game (watch a video). Attendees also got to operate a variety of remote switching and remote racking devices and meet with our electrical safety experts.
Chad Mullen of Vacuum Interrupters was on hand as well to demonstrate the MAC-TS4 test set and other VI capabilities.
“We were pleased to offer hands-on practical applications that our guests could interface with,” said Justin Gaull of CBS ArcSafe. “We plan to take a similar approach for future events.”
