Navigating the Desert for Electrical Safety
Not even the harsh, desolate desert of Saudi Arabia can keep us from providing arc-flash protection. Greg Davis, Manager of Customer Support and International Sales at CBS ArcSafe, has traveled twice to Saudi Aramco’s Shaybah oil field to help implement electrical safety. After CBS ArcSafe built and shipped the RSA-233 to the site, Greg showed workers how to operate the remote switch actuator. On his second visit, Greg assessed the remote switching needs of the facility’s four gas oil separation plants. Wherever and whenever customers need arc-flash protection, CBS ArcSafe is there. Teamwork Makes the Dream Work!
For the ArcSafe crew’s recent team building day, we piled onto a bus and were taken to two places (three if you count accidentally stopping at the wrong location — oops). The first stop was at a place called Escape the Room, where we broke up into two teams. Each team had to complete an Escape the Room challenge; then the teams were changed up and put in new, harder rooms to escape.Read More
Ashley Ledbetter Visits Korea
Group CBS Vice President Ashley Ledbetter recently traveled to Korea, acting as the company’s ambassador to meet with distributors. In addition to sampling the local fare and culture, Ledbetter talked about the Group CBS product lineup and learned about the electrical equipment needs of the region.
