At CBS ArcSafe, our mission is to provide each customer with the highest-quality remote racking and remote switching equipment available. To that end, we recently expanded our operations so that all products can be manufactured, serviced, and shipped from our headquarters in Denton, Texas. The added manufacturing and assembly capacity will allow for quicker turnaround and customization when required.

Expanded CBS ArcSafe facility in Denton, TX

In 2018 CBS ArcSafe and Group CBS acquired West Virginia–based Martek Ltd., the makers of the Chicken Switch brand of products. We maintained the West Virginia operation until the recent retirement of its original owners.

“The retirement of Russ Safreed, an original partner and a key innovator at Martek Ltd., has led us to evaluate the West Virginia operation and consider the benefits of having all manufacturing in one location with our in-house engineering and design teams,” said Ben Walterscheid, national operations manager at CBS ArcSafe. “The West Virginia team did an outstanding job over the last six years, and we made an effort to retain everyone on the team, some of whom have remained with us through the transition.”

In line with this transition, Justin Gaull, who served as interim West Virginia operations manager after Safreed’s retirement, will take on business development and national account management for CBS ArcSafe.
