The Chicken Switch brand of remote switching equipment was introduced in late 2018 following the CBS ArcSafe acquisition of Martek Limited. The integration of the Chicken Switch product line enhances the total ArcSafe offering by providing new options for lightweight remote switch kits (RSKs) for select circuit breakers and motor control centers. RSKs include everything needed to do the job. They come complete with a handheld controller, batteries, an actuator, and an operating cable, all conveniently packed in a Pelican-brand carrying case. This new offering nicely complements ArcSafe’s line of RSA remote switching systems and universal remote racking solutions, such as the RRS-1.
Over the last several months, ArcSafe has been distributing new demo equipment to its representatives around the country. Demonstrations of select Chicken Switch products (and their affiliated racking devices) are now available through CBS ArcSafe outside sales representatives and affiliate sales offices.
Use CBS ArcSafe’s new Product Finder to quickly and easily find ArcSafe solutions. This tool helps users find arc-flash safety solutions by searching with keywords, including the name of the electrical apparatus and the ArcSafe product name.
